Operation Warm: Coats for Kids
The Greensboro Fire Fighter’s Charitable Fund delivered new winter coats to 270 children at Bessemer Elementary School in October. Local 947 members, GFD administration, and City Manager Taiwo Jaiyeoba, along with staff and families, all pitched in to make a special day run smoothly! 2023 marked the 1,300th coat delivered to children in need living in Greensboro. Planning has already begun for 2024's distribution, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Local 947 Red Ale
Our annual collaboration with Little Brother Brewing carried on through our 4th successful year of fundraising to support the Greensboro Fire Fighters' Charitable Fund. Over the summer, Local 947 members participated in the brewing and canning our Red Ale at LBB's facility in Kernersville. GFFCF continues to prioritize support to Greensboro firefighters and our community. Please reach out to an e-board member to get involved.
