FIRE FIGHTERS FOR RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT

Fire Fighters for Responsible Government (FFRG) is the political action committee fund of the Professional Fire Fighters of Greensboro- IAFF Local 947.

FFRG's mission is to educate members of the Greensboro City Council and NC General Assembly about job-related issues important to Greensboro firefighters, our families, and our community. FFRG helps elect candidates who support firefighter issues to the Greensboro City Council and the NC General Assembly. We endorse and support candidates based on issues like pay and compensation, health and safety, staffing, secure retirements, and affordable healthcare benefits. It is our job as a union to evaluate and support candidates that stand with us on the issues that directly impact us as firefighters and indirectly impact our community through our ability to maintain a safe and effective response force. Our philosophy is simple, we support candidates that support us, regardless of party affiliation.
